On August 14, Bangtan TV uploaded a video titled BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN Sketch, capturing some moments of the members during their performances in Busan back in June. This time, the video also featured a special guest — Jimin’s father.

At most of BTS’ concerts in South кσяєα, the members’ families are almost always there to support them. Previously, when BTS kicked off their ARIRANG World Tour in Goyang, the parents and siblings of all seven members were present in the au∂ιєnce, where they were seen chatting and taking photos together. j-hope’s family also took photos with the members backstage.

This time, Jimin’s father directly came to support the group on behalf of the parents ahead of their 13th anniversary concert. He brought traditional кσяєαn rice cakes and snacks for the members — and, notably, all of the food was handmade by Jimin’s family. BTS happily enjoyed the food and had nothing but praise for how delicious everything was.

But the most notable moment came when the members met Jimin’s father again for the first time in a while. They immediately noticed a major change in his appearance and had some incredibly amusing reactions!

The first member to react as soon as he saw Jimin’s father in the room was j-hope. With his eyes wide open in surprise, he couldn’t hide his curiosity and immediately asked, “Whoa, why did you lose so much weight?” Jimin’s father then briefly explained, “I promised I'd lose weight,” referring to the promise he and Jimin had made about this. Meanwhile, the other members also came over to greet him one by one and seemed genuinely impressed by his “transformation.” Jin also commented, “You ℓσѕт so much weight.”

But the members’ curiosity didn’t stop there. V really wanted to know what had motivated Jimin’s father to lose so much weight, so he asked Jimin, “What did you say to your father that made his ∂ιєt so successful?” while j-hope continued to marvel, “He really ℓσѕт so much weight.” Faced with so much curiosity from his “sons,” Jimin’s father finally said, “I can't tell you, but I made a promise. Just between the two of us. I promised I'd get below 70 kg. We made a promise. I can't reveal it here.”

Finally, RM continued to compliment him, saying that he looked 15 years younger, while j-hope agreed with a similar conclusion: “You seriously look so much younger.”

Jimin’s father is already a familiar face to many ARMYs, especially those who have visited the famous ZM-Illennial cafe in Busan, which he runs. It was also one of the places that attracted a large number of ARMYs when the group held its 13th anniversary concert in June. Many ARMYs were reportedly lining up early to buy drinks and goods, and at one point, they even had to wait at least two hours to get into the cafe.

Fans who have had the chance to meet or greet Jimin’s father in person would probably know that he and Jimin share many similar features. He has a warm, friendly appearance and a slightly chubby build, though he was by no means overweight. So now, after seeing just how surprised the members were by his appearance following his weight loss, fans are understandably very curious.

At the same time, they were also amused by the adorable interaction between Jimin’s father and the members — it really felt like watching a group of “sons” interacting with their dad in one big family. Fans left plenty of interesting comments about the moment:
