Following BTS’ recent concert in Bogotá, the wнιтe outfits from Vietnamese brand LJIN, which the group wore for the opening segment at Estadio El Campín, quickly attracted attention.
Featuring a deconstructed silhouette, the collection layers an off-wнιтe palette with brown-treated fabrics to create a striking burnt, weathered finish. Raw cut-outs, exposed zippers, and utility straps are paired alongside wнιтe fur coats, cropped blazers, high-neck tops, and metallic accents.
LJIN's outfits were highly praised for their uniqueness and how perfectly they matched the high-energy opening performance, which featured tracks like 'Hooligan,' 'Aliens,' and 'Run BTS.'

After looking into the brand, fans also discovered that its CEO is also the person behind the development of womenswear brand LSEOUL (LSOUL), which has been favored by K-pop idols such as BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, and TWICE. The CEO even revealed that another surprise outfit set is still in store for BTS’ second concert in Bogotá.
While most fans were excited by the news, there were naturally also some mixed reactions.
Under the brand’s post, some fans and netizens discussed LJIN’s design for SUGA, arguing that it was less eye-catching than those of the other members and did not fit the overall concept. Some even accused the LJIN team of being unprofessional and paying less attention to the rapper’s outfit.

In response to these questions, and even some rather harsh criticism from fans, several members of LJIN’s production team stepped forward to explain. According to them, the difference in SUGA’s outfit was not because the brand had put less effort into it or intentionally designed a more “bland” outfit for him.
One stylist on the team explained: “Well, LJIN custom-made outfits for all 7 members. As for Suga's outfit, he actually picked that design himself back during the sketching stage!” This means that the design SUGA ultimately wore was personally selected by him and was also adjusted with his input from the sketching stage. In other words, his outfit was not simply soмєтнing the team decided on themselves and handed to him to wear.
Another stylist also explained the outfit-making process: “It's because when we brought the clothes over, their stylists gave us feedback too. It wasn't like we just made them on the spot and they wore them right away; there were multiple fittings and constant alterations!” This explanation shows that BTS’ outfits went through multiple fittings and adjustments with direct input from the кσяєαn styling team, so it was not a case of the brand simply making the designs on its own or putting them together without much thought.

After these responses were shared, many ARMYs also came to LJIN’s defense. Fans pointed out that for a large-scale stage like BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’, the outfits would certainly have to go through a careful review and adjustment process. The members themselves also have the right to review the designs, give their opinions, and request changes if they feel soмєтнing is unsuitable. Moreover, given SUGA’s position, it would be unreasonable to αѕѕume that he was forced to wear soмєтнing he did not feel comfortable or satisfied with.
Once SUGA chose to wear the outfit on stage, it also meant that he agreed with the design and felt comfortable wearing it. Therefore, some fans argued that the controversy from outsiders was unnecessary and, above all, that the brand that contributed to BTS’ performance should be respected: "He choose that himself.. stop criticising the artist.. stop making everything hard for bts .. some of you are ruining everything by being so delusionally negetive", "And solos are embarrαѕѕing them under the official account of the designer team asking for explanation. Please stop doing silly things", "There were multiple fittings and adjustments with BTS’ кσяєαn styling team. Please stop acting like LJIN just made the outfits and handed them over", "Not every member has to wear the exact same style. SUGA’s outfit being different doesn’t mean LJIN put less effort into him. He just wants this, okay?",...
