ARMYs Without BTS’s Peru Concert Tickets Can Still Watch the Show Live for Free Thanks to This

BTS officially kicked off the South αмєяι¢αn leg of their 'ARIRANG' World Tour in Bogotá, Colombia earlier this month. After two nights at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, BTS will continue their journey through five cities, including Lima (Peru), Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and São Paulo (вяαzιℓ), with a total of 14 shows.

In Peru, BTS’ popularity had already been on full display long before the concerts officially took place. PromPerú, an agency under the Peruvian government, even recognized the tour as a prime example of "music tourism and the BTS effect." In the capital city of Lima, the fan community also prepared an impressive drone show to welcome the group. Across the streets of Peru, purple and red decorations also appeared early.

Even so, for some fans in Peru, the excitement could not be complete because concert tickets for BTS were never unlimited. The number of people waiting in line to purchase concert tickets in Peru once surpαѕѕed 521,000. During the ARMY Membership pre-sale back in April this year, tickets for all three nights sold out within just a few hours. As a result, many fans were unable to secure a ticket to see the seven members in person.

However, as the concert dates draw closer, one interesting piece of news could potentially open up an opportunity for many fans, especially those who do not have tickets!

Specifically, a fan account recently shared a news clip from Peruvian television, featuring footage taken from the National University of San Marcos overlooking Estadio San Marcos in Lima — where the stage, speakers, and scaffolding are currently being set up for BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” on October 7, 9, and 10, 2026.

Estadio San Marcos is located right on the campus of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), while some of the university’s faculty buildings have balconies and windows that directly overlook the stage area. In other words, from a viewing perspective, people standing in certain areas of these buildings would actually be able to see the stage and the large screens below.

The person who posted the clip pointed out that the stadium was still being prepared and jokingly noted that those “staying at home” this time could still watch the entire concert without a ticket, simply by standing on the balconies or looking out the windows of some university buildings to watch BTS’ live performance.

Some local fans then confirmed this “privilege,” while others quickly joined in with humorous comments. One fan joked, “Luck is raining down on everyone except Arab ARMYs,” while another suggested that BigHit should just sell tickets for the university’s balcony areas. Some fans even joked that the organizers and the university had already known about this and moved all the students to online clαѕѕes to prevent them from watching the concert for free.

It is true that UNMSM has moved some academic and administrative activities online, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the BTS concert. In reality, the UNMSM campus is being used as a polling station at the request of Peru’s National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) for the regional and municipal elections. As a result, some faculties had to switch to online clαѕѕes on October 1, 2, 3, and 5. Meanwhile, BTS’ concerts are scheduled for October 7, 9, and 10.

Still, it is possible that the university and concert organizers could adjust the academic schedule or control access to the campus to meet security requirements during BTS’ concert dates. So, fans probably should not get too excited just yet!

Even so, for those who were left empty-handed after the intense battle for BTS concert tickets, the story of these “free seats” from the university balconies is still pretty exciting — especially when even the national television station had to report on it.

And what if you did not get a ticket and are not a student at the National University of San Marcos? There is still a “last resort” for ARMYs who want to follow the concert. Fans can watch livestreams from some TikTok or Instagram accounts that broadcast live from around Estadio San Marcos on the days BTS perform.

With their love for BTS and enthusiasm running through their veins, it is clear that there is almost nothing that can stop ARMYs!
