If you are a loyal fan, you probably know that Jungkook has a history of several “supernatural encounters.” In BTS’s Proof Collector’s Edition, Jungkook once shared his υиєχρє¢тє∂ encounter with a ghost in the bathroom of the group’s old dorm.
“I was alone and in the shower when I saw a really pale ankle between my legs. The ankle disappeared by walking toward a room. I saw it go into the house from the front door by the shoe rack. But I didn’t hear anyone after that. I actually thought it was SUGA hyung because of the pale skin tone. When I got done washing my hair, I went to say hi to him, but no one was in the room. There was no one else in the dorm except me,” he described in detail.
He has also repeatedly told fans, “I’ve seen ghosts in the dorm before!” But instead of being scared, the Golden Maknae showed curiosity and even wanted to communicate with them: “I want to ask how old they are, what happened to them, and communicate with them! And become friends with them, I was curious. I still am!"

In a previous livestream, Jungkook even revealed that he once held a “ghost hunt” in his own apartment: "Before moving in here, I wanted to meet a ghost so bad so around 2 AM, I turned off the lights off and I used that thing that the ghost hunters use. I sat here in the living room and waited..." But in the end, "...And there was no sound haha". He treated it as nothing more than a spontaneous, playful joke.
That’s why, during a recent livestream, fans were nearly frozen in ѕнσ¢к when they spotted the shadow of a mysterious “figure” in the frame — quickly αѕѕuming it was a ghost, the very thing Jungkook had always wanted to encounter!
Specifically, during a sudden 15-minute livestream on the 29th, fans noticed an object seemingly moving back and forth reflected on the ceiling outside the living room of Jungkook’s villa. The clip lasted only about 8 seconds but went viral across social media, garnering hundreds of thousands of views.
Fans also noticed that Jungkook seemed completely unaware, still focused on searching for “Ian” inside several boxes of Kancho cookies he had just bought — determined to find one printed with his own name. Terrified fans exclaimed: “Jungkook, there’s a ghost behind you!”, “Jungkook, who’s walking behind you?”, “OMG ANYONE atp bear tiger bunny crow koala penguin ghost”, “We pranked him before… could it actually happen this time?”...

But the truth wasn’t what some fans thought! It seems that some of them missed the beginning of the livestream and, due to the language barrier, didn’t understand the situation. The mysterious figure reflected wasn’t a ghost — it was actually a plumber. At the start of the broadcast, Jungkook had mentioned this when the doorbell rang.

Fortunately, some clear-headed ARMYs reminded other fans, helping calm everyone down. Given Jungkook’s past “connections” with ghosts, it’s understandable why fans’ imaginations ran so wild.
Some fans joked that ARMYs are the ones who love to prank but end up being the most easily scared themselves. During Jungkook’s (and other members’) livestreams, fans often have a running joke of commenting that there’s “soмєтнing behind them,” even when nothing is shown on screen. But when there actually seemed to be “soмєтнing” in the frame this time, they were far more fяιgнтєиє∂ than the idol sitting right there.
Others grew curious about what Jungkook’s reaction would have been if it really had been a ghost. Would he greet it, wave at it, or invite the “ghost” to join the livestream with millions of ARMYs around the world — and unbox the mystery cookies together? It’s hilarious… but who knows!
