As many fans already know, Jungkook’s Instagram account was suddenly suspended just a few hours ago. Some fans discovered the issue minutes after they could no longer find the account “mnijungkook” on Instagram, while others could still access the profile page but found it completely empty with the message “User not found” displayed.
What made fans even more ѕнσ¢кed was the fact that just one day earlier, Jungkook had been extremely active on the platform. He recently sent fans into a frenzy after uploading a video of himself riding a Ducati Panigale V4 S at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, and he even posted a recruitment notice looking for a cameraman/editor to accompany him during the tour. After that, he also uploaded a new vlog documenting a day of BTS in Las Vegas.
The incident quickly caused mαѕѕive panic within the fandom because many people still vividly remember Jungkook personally deleting his Instagram account with 52.4 million followers back in 2023. His current account was only reopened in July of last year after completing his military service. In less than a year, the account had already surpαѕѕed 21.61 million followers, only to suddenly be suspended without any prior warning.

Over the past few hours, social media has been flooded with panicked reactions from fans: "I dont think he deleted it again lol, no way", "y’all it’s most likely suspended", "NO NOT AGAIN I CANT GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN", "Pls nooo what the h3ll", "Don't joke about it", " HOPE THIS IS AN INSTAGRAM AND NOT HIM DELETING IT", "What happened to mnijungkook",...
But it turns out the incident did not only confuse fans — Jungkook himself seemed just as bewildered. A few hours after the suspension, he uploaded a screenshot to his TikTok account with nothing but a question mark “?” attached, while using “No.29” from the new album “ARIRANG” as the background music.
What angered the ARMY community the most was Instagram’s response regarding Jungkook’s account. The notification warned: "If you do not request a review within 180 days, your account will be permanently deactivated," with the suspension date clearly specified as "May 27, 2026." As for the reason behind the suspension, Instagram explained: "Your account, or activity on your account, doesn't comply with our Terms of Service on Intellectual Property, including our policy on Trademark rights."

Many fans argued that the accusation made absolutely no sense because Jungkook had recently only been posting personal vlogs, everyday videos, and self-produced content. Even Jungkook himself appeared confused as to why his account had suddenly been suspended for such a reason. Some fans jokingly expressed both sympathy and frustration through comments such as: “Not him using No.29 with the story. my baby he’s so confused,” “Moment of silence for this bullsht,” “No my sweet baby… Instagram you will go to h3ll,” “Crying I can imagine his face now,” and “He knew we would be fяєαкing tf out so he had to clear everything out. Also f*ck you Meta… give him his account back NOW.”
On the other hand, some fans pointed out that this unusual suspension could be related to a recent platform error that several other idols have reportedly experienced as well. According to them, Meta’s moderation AI has α¢¢ι∂єитally been disabling numerous verified celebrity and business accounts. However, most of those accounts were restored within a few hours or roughly a day after Instagram received reports about the issue.

As a result, fans have had no choice but to continuously post on X, directly tagging Instagram, Meta, and BigHit Music to demand that the platform restore Jungkook’s account as quickly as possible. One widely shared tweet stated: “Apparently, Meta's AI is mistakenly deactivating accounts, Jungkook's Instagram account has also been affected and taken down. @instagram @bts_bigнιт @BIGHIT_MUSIC please investigate this issue and restore Jungkook's account as soon as possible.”
Another fan also wrote: “@instagram @Meta, BTS Jungkook’s verified Instagram account (@/mnijungkook) appears to have been wrongly disabled or hidden due to a technical/platform error. You better get my fav acc back. Review the account and remove any false restrictions as soon as possible,” receiving mαѕѕive support from fellow fans online.
