BTS officially kicked off the London leg of their ARIRANG World Tour on Monday, drawing tens of thousands of fans to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the British capital welcomed the group with citywide cultural events and festivals. The seven-member group successfully completed the first of their two sold-out concerts in London before continuing the European leg of the tour with upcoming stops in Munich and Paris.

"BTS's music transcends language barriers and everything else," one fan from Scotland told YTN. "They're always there for us whenever we go through difficult times." Meanwhile, a fan from Munich said that what she admires most about BTS is "the love and respect the members have for one another as well as for their fans."

However, amid the joyful and vibrant atmosphere of London's purple festival, an υиєχρє¢тє∂ controversy erupted within a section of the fandom!

It all began after several videos from the concert began circulating on social media. During the show, many netizens expressed concern after noticing that Jungkook appeared to be experiencing back pain and was seen walking with a slight limp following the performances of Butter and Dynamite. A slight grimace on Jungkook's face also led many of his fans to question his physical condition.

What drew even more attention was that the criticism quickly shifted toward Jin. Earlier in the concert, some fans had witnessed Jin jumping onto Jungkook's back as the youngest member gave him a piggyback ride during a playful onstage interaction. Based on that moment, a portion of netizens accused Jin of being thoughtless and claimed that his actions were the reason Jungkook's back was hurting.

Some particularly upset comments included: "Do they know JK has herniated disk?" "Especially when it would affect his ability to dance, not to mention the chronic pain it would cause later in life" and "This man trying to кιℓℓ him and destroy his future."

As Jin came under heavy criticism and some people began portraying the incident in a way that affected the close relationship between Jin and Jungkook, many ARMY quickly stepped forward to defend him. These fans argued that people were jumping to conclusions without sufficient evidence. One fan also pointed out that Jin had warned Jungkook twice before jumping onto his back, writing: "Jin literally made sure and let him know twice that he was gonna jump on him. Seokjin is always a considerate soul. Cat got your tongue when that happened? What's your excuse?"

Another fan also argued that the video did not show Jungkook suffering from back pain as many had αѕѕumed, commenting: "Looks like his legs hurt, not his back, and it's the same—they're tired just like every performance." Many others went on to leave comments such as:
