On this day, Jimin and the other BTS members are currently making efforts to prepare for their comeback in spring 2026, as they announced earlier in July this year, right after completing their military service. In most live broadcasts, the members shared that they have been fully immersed in work, as there is so much to do.
There was an early morning live broadcast by V, around 6–7 a.m. (KST), during which fans noticed that he had just returned home after finishing work, highlighting how intense the workload of superstars can be.
Similarly, Jimin also shared that the members have been very focused on completing their music projects during a recent live broadcast for his birthday. He said: “Everyone's busy with recording and album stuff… Everyone's working hard and all, and just like I've mentioned before, I think we're just nervous, excited and all since we're not sure how you guys will react to it.”
Their schedules are so packed that the members couldn’t even gather or meet Jimin to celebrate his birthday. Jimin pointed out that he hadn’t seen Jungkook recently, and while V had just finished recording, it was Jimin’s turn to record. They don’t have much time to meet even as a group, or to work together on the same project.
It seems the superstars have returned to the rhythm of their work as K-pop idols. However, it also appears that their state of adjustment is not yet complete after two years in the military, where their daily routines were entirely different. This might explain why Jimin seemed a little flustered when fans asked about practicing dance.
Specifically, Jimin read a fan comment saying: “Aren't you practicing the dance (lately)?” and he replied: “Shouldn't I be doing so (by now? Tbh I think I'm a bit scared, I obviously can do well, but I guess I feel a bit... chickened out.”
His humility mixed with a bit of awkwardness is understandable, as it has been about two years since Jimin last returned to the dance studio. Instead, he was training in the military with completely different exercises. Not practicing dance daily for a long time clearly affects the body’s sensitivity to continuous movements in choreography, which can make him feel slightly less confident.
Although dance sкιℓℓs and instinct don’t vanish over time, the muscles used for dancing need time to regain their flexibility, and dancers also need to warm up their bo∂ιєs to feel confident moving on their feet.
On the other hand, the stage presence is soмєтнing Jimin also needs to rediscover after such a long break. Even idols who stop performing or touring for just a few months feel a difference when returning to the stage, let alone someone like Jimin who hasn’t performed for two years.
Jimin’s close friend, SHINee’s Taemin, also admitted in a Vogue interview that he felt very nervous and anxious returning to the stage after a long military enlistment. This shows that idols like Jimin, Taemin, or BTS need time to readjust to the pace of being an idol to be able to sing and dance normally.
Understanding Jimin’s feelings, fans have taken to social media to leave many supportive and encouraging comments:
