Two very different sides of the music world υиєχρє¢тє∂ly came together when Chappell Roan attended BTS’s sold-out concert at SoFi Stadium earlier this week. Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, is a globally renowned pop music phenomenon who has been dubbed the “Underground Pop Star” who has made the biggest breakthrough in recent years.

With an artistic style inspired by drag culture, a powerful and versatile voice, and a nostalgic 1980s-inspired musical aesthetic, she quickly won over the public with a string of нιтs such as “Good Luck, Babe!”, “HOT TO GO!” and “Pink Pony Club.” Beyond her unique musical vision, Chappell Roan is also known for her outspoken personality and her unwavering stance when it comes to protecting her personal boundaries and artistic freedom.

Not only did she attend the concert, but on September 4, RM also posted a photo on his Instagram Stories showing himself, Roan, and other members of the group together. He also added a pink heart to the υиєχρє¢тє∂ photo. As photos from the backstage encounter spread across social media, fans were quick to react and express their excitement, writing: “BTS x Chappell Roan was NOT on my 2026 bingo card,” “Talented people always recognize each other,” “We need a collab ASAP,” "Four goats in one frame",...

Although most fans were thrilled to see these famous stars meet, not everyone felt the same way. Some negative voices were unhappy with the encounter, making a huge deal out of it and even viciously attacking Chappell Roan herself!

They criticized her for taking the stage at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields just days earlier to raise her voice in support of feminism, only to casually pose for a photo with a group that they accused of “supporting abusers and perpetrators of νισℓєи¢є” shortly afterward — even though that accusation is not true. Many also expressed deep disappointment, arguing that the feminist image she had built was merely superficial.

Meanwhile, some online users also accused BTS of deliberately using Roan’s image and her αѕѕociation with feminism and women’s empowerment to divert public attention away from the group’s recent controversies, particularly the Chris Brown controversy from earlier in August.

Faced with the situation, ARMY could no longer tolerate the false accusations that this group of people continued to spam about BTS. One fan pushed back, writing: “If you’re going to condemn them (BTS) or going to the concert, then you should condemn Ariana for having a collab, Leigh Anne for having gone to concert, Tyla for having opened the tour and gone to a party with him, Zayn for having a collab with him, Bruno Mars for promoting his tour”

ARMY also stood up for Chappell Roan, defending her against the attacks and pointing out: “You can tell how low stantwt's iq is from how they try to drag bts into everything, and despite claiming to be feminists, they even att*ck a woman for willingly attending a bts concert. their performative activism thinking they can actually cancel bts is just getting hilarious at this point.” Others shared similar sentiments:

- Don't forget that she went to their concert. Keep crying, friends — nobody outside this app cares about your big cancellation

- Are we seriously putting restrictions on whose concerts people can go to and whose music they can listen to now? I bet half the people dragging her are still listening to Chris’s music and dancing like crazy to it

- People really need to stop policing who artists can take pictures with. Chappell did nothing wrong, and neither did BTS

- The miserable people in the quts and replies swear to god that they stand by women and here they're dragging a woman lol. Hypocrite mfs lol

- The fact that they’re attacking a woman for attending a BTS concert while calling themselves feminists is honestly ridiculous

- At the end of the day, no difference between the photo of BTS with CB and the photo of BTS with Roan. They just respect each other as fellow artists, from an artistic perspective. That doesn’t mean they support νισℓєи¢є or any unethical behavior in each other’s personal lives

- Leave Chappell and BTS alone. Artists can meet, support each other, and enjoy music without signing up for every single narrative people create online

- The hypocrites are the ones creating all this controversy in the first place. If you want to attack someone, then go after CB. There are tons of people who have taken pictures with him, interacted with him, worked with him, and even supported him. Why aren’t you saying anything about them?

- Taking a backstage photo with an artist doesn’t mean you endorse their entire personal history. Some of you seriously need to learn the difference
