BTS is known as a “global sensation with millions of international fans” and “a group of young men in their twenties who achieved unprecedented success in the US market.” Yet, beyond those records and remarkable achievements, perhaps BTS’s most meaningful accomplishment is the healing they have brought to millions of people through their music and simply by being who they are.
The story of one fan below is a testament to that impact, once again moving the world with the profound bond between BTS and ARMY!

On October 22, a video went viral on social media after Ali Sharbati, a well-known Iranian interviewer who creates content for the country’s K-pop community, shared the final message a recently ∂є¢єαѕєd ARMY had written to V.
Ali Sharbati explained: “On the last day of her life, right before her surgery, she wrote you a message in кσяєαn. She wanted it to reach u. I'm sharing that message here for you. Please take a moment to watch this. Maybe even a few words from u could bring a little comfort to her grieving family. Her name was ZAHRA. Thank you.”
In her letter, Zahra began by asking Taehyung how he was doing before revealing that, in just a few hours, she would undergo an extremely difficult heart surgery. She wrote the message in case she did not make it through the operation.
“During the darkest time of my life, you became my light and my hope. I'm truly so proud of you for holding on so firmly and well until now,” Zahra wrote.
Although she had never met V in person, she had always carried him in her heart. Zahra wanted the singer to know that she had loved him and felt proud of him until her very last moment, even if she did not survive the surgery.
She also hoped that if she made it through safely, V might reply to her message so she could tell him herself that she had come through the operation safely. However, even if he never heard from her again, Zahra wanted him to know that she would always watch over him from heaven and continue to feel proud of him.
“I love you,” she wrote, ending her letter with a short but deeply moving message.

Zahra’s story is another reminder that the bond between an artist and their fans can sometimes extend far beyond music. After the story was shared, several major BTS fanbases and prominent fan accounts reposted her heartfelt words, hoping that V would learn about the sincere love she had for him. Many fans were moved to tears as they read her letter, while others expressed their condolences to her grieving family:
