If fans remember, after completing his military service, the first variety show Kim Seokjin appeared on was Netflix’s Kian's Bizarre B&B—where he met, lived, and worked with Kian84 and actress Ji Ye-eun for five days. In its first week of release, the show ranked No. 6 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV list and became the first кσяєαn variety show on Netflix to enter the global Top 10 (not a survival show or drama). It also won the Variety Show category on OTT platforms at the Brand of the Year Awards 2025.

This success can largely be attributed to the natural chemistry of the trio Kim Seokjin – Kian84 – Ji Ye-eun. In particular, fans were drawn to the older brother–younger sister dynamic between Jin and Ji Ye-eun. Normally, Jin is the youngest in his family with an older brother and the eldest in a group of six male members, so this was almost the first time fans got to see how he interacts with a younger sister.

Even off-screen, they have continued to maintain a close friendship and quietly support each other. Most recently, fans spotted the actress attending BTS’s concert in Goyang alongside Kian to support Jin and the group. When posting their backstage photo together, Ji Ye-eun used a short caption: “Truly amazing/cool!”—a playful pun based on Jin’s name in кσяєαn pronunciation (“jinjja,” which means “truly”).

Meanwhile, in a previous interview reflecting on her time working with Jin at Kian’s guesthouse, when asked to name the most impressive thing about him during filming, Ji Ye-eun chose “his cooking sкιℓℓs.” "Oppa is really good at cooking. He’s really really good. That’s why it was so delicious. Everything there was truly delicious", she said.

Jin’s culinary talent has been recognized through many BTS-produced shows and reality programs he has participated in. He often takes on the role of the main cook when he’s with the BTS members. Similarly, on Kian’s Bizarre B&B, it wasn’t hard to notice his strong pαѕѕion for cooking as he essentially took on the role of head chef—preparing everything from traditional кσяєαn meals to even making tofu rice for the first time, a traditional dish αѕѕociated with family gatherings in North кσяєα.

In addition, the actress also had nothing but praise for his admirable qualities. She said, "He's a world star, so I thought if I got too close, I might get criticized, so I tried to keep some distance. It was nice, but I was also nervous. But in this enviroment, I couldn't really do that, so we became close more quickly. He treated me comfortably, and we got along well."

Notably, this aspect of Jin’s personality recently went viral on social media through a fan-edited video with the caption: “Seokjin going viral for being a gentleman with women,” under the topic: “Do male idols only go viral for being shirtless?” In the video, moments such as when a female guest struggled to climb to the upper floor of Kian’s guesthouse and Jin crouched down to offer his palm as support, or when he helped Ji Ye-eun spread a covering cloth and wring out towels, stood out.

Ji Ye-eun’s comments have since received enthusiastic reactions from netizens and fans. Many expressed amazement at how rare it is to find a man who is not only handsome and talented on stage, but also sкιℓℓed in cooking, good at household tasks, and warm and gentlemanly in personality:
