If you remember, on October 13 — Jimin’s birthday — he went live for about an hour to spend time with fans. It was his first livestream in two years, after taking a break for his military service.

During that broadcast, Jimin shared stories about his work and daily life, including his latest obsession: watching videos of a famous cat named Cheomji. Fans could see him smiling sweetly and laughing while watching Cheomji’s clips during the live.

Cheomji is one of two popular cats owned by YouTuber Habin, who runs the channel UNDER WORLD, boasting over 1.5 million subscribers. The channel mainly features humorous and heartwarming moments of the black-and-wнιтe cat’s daily life.

After discovering that Jimin had watched his cat during the livestream, Habin uploaded a funny reaction video showing Cheomji “thanking” the BTS star for watching. In the video, Habin says: “Ahh, the world-clαѕѕ JM from BTS gave a shout-out to our Cheomji. She’s a member of BTS now. You’re going to be busy. You have to prepare for the world tour. Say hello to Jimin-sunbaenim. Say ‘I’m looking forward to working with you.’” And amusingly, the cat actually bowed afterward.

Jimin later saw this reaction and responded adorably with an Instagram Story, taking a screenshot of Cheomji’s bow and writing: “Cheomji-ya, I’m looking forward to your Meow, Sweat & Tears (performance)” — an impossibly sweet message.

The cute online interaction between Jimin, Cheomji, and Habin attracted so much attention that it was even brought up during Habin’s appearance on SBS Power FM’s “Beautiful Morning with Bong Taegyu.” During the talk, Habin shared how ѕнσ¢кed he was when he learned about the real number of viewers who had seen his cat on Jimin’s livestream.

The host started by joking, “Ha Bin’s shoulders are up high right now — he’s so proud! Why? Because BTS’s Jimin was seen watching Cheomji the Cat shorts during his live". Then, Habin couldn’t hide his pride and confirmed, “Yes.”

He went on to say that, at the time, he guessed around 100,000 people had watched Cheomji during Jimin’s live broadcast, since that’s the average real-time view count for most celebrities when they go live. However, the reality completely shocked him. "After hearing Jimin was spotted watching Cat Cheomji shorts during his live, I thought, since it’s BTS’s Jimin, it would get at least 100,000 viewers. But it turns out — 6 million people watched”, he said. 

The host was stunned, exclaiming, “Wow, that’s amazing!” For global superstars like Jimin or BTS, having millions of viewers watching live at the same time is possible — but that’s far from “normal” for everyone else.

Still basking in the moment, Habin proudly added another fun fact, teasing the host: “He also gave us a shout-out on his Instagram Story. Do you know how many followers he has?”. Then he quickly answered his own question: “50 million", making the host burst out shouting: “What kind of cat luck is this?”

Habin wrapped up the story by emphasizing how once-in-a-lifetime the experience was: “Really, I got cat luck. My face appeared on Jimin’s story! My face!”
His comment made both the host and fans laugh.

Indeed, thanks to his beloved cat, Habin’s face — and channel — appeared on the Instagram Story of a global K-pop superstar. Jimin even gave him free PR, introducing both his and Cheomji’s accounts to millions of fans. As often happens whenever BTS members mention soмєтнing, the number of people following Habin and Cheomji likely soared after Jimin’s shout-out.

Habin’s excitement is totally understandable — it’s not every day that you get a once-in-a-lifetime moment like this. After the radio broadcast aired, fans flooded social media with amused and heartwarming comments about Habin’s “cat luck” and Jimin’s adorable interaction with Cheomji:
