Here is a story of one special fanboy who got this rare opportunity. And what's even more envious is that he even got to talk to Jungkook first!
Jungkook is known to be always friendly and cute when meeting ARMYs. He often shakes hands and signs autographs of ARMYs he meets by chance. Most of the time it's because ARMYs noticed and went to see him first.
But the situation in the following story is different. Even though this male ARMY tried to avoid him, Jungkook still recognized him as an ARMY and came to talk warmly.
Specifically, a lucky fanboy met Jungkook after the group's concert at MetLife. This ARMY bought a ticket and flied to New York to attend the concert. But after that, he didn't fly home immediately, but spent time resting in New York the next day and walking around the city.
OP decided to stop by the Balenciaga store to buy some items for himself. It's a very large store and is located on a busy street. The guy pushed open the door to enter naturally and there were very few customers in the store.
While searching for items and going to the corner of the store, the fanboy was lucky enough to see Jungkook looking around with some bodyguards. He immediately recognized it as his idol - the one he saw last night's performance.
Even when he went to the store he was still wearing a bracelet with the floor number from the previous concert night. When he saw Jungkook there, he seemed to have gone crazy with joy. But he decided not to disturb Jungkook's day off so he avoided him and continued shopping like a normal person.

Last but not least, they even talked for a while (with a little help from the staff to translate) and then said goodbye. That fanboy recounted that he honestly couldn't remember the details of what he said to Jungkook because he still couldn't believe it was real. He just remembered thanking Jungkook so much and Jungkook also thanked him for coming.
That fanboy said that he was impressed by Jungkook's kindness and generosity. He also recounted that Jungkook has an extremely humble and sweet attitude and it totally shows how much he cares about interacting with ARMYs.
