BTS are currently embarking on a mαѕѕive world tour, meeting fans across 34 cities with a total of 88 concerts scheduled through April next year. Most recently, the La Plata City Council in Argentina unanimously approved a proposal to confer upon BTS the title of "Distinguished Foreign Guests" during the group's upcoming tour stop in October—a municipal-level diplomatic honor reserved for distinguished international visitors who have made exceptional contributions.
Beyond the overwhelming success of their long-awaited reunion as a full group, the BTS members have also continued to shine through their individual endeavors. Jungkook recently signed another endorsement deal with world-renowned luxury diamond house GRAFF, while not long ago j-hope, Jimin, and V stole the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week.

Most notably, the latest surprise came when one BTS member υиєχρє¢тє∂ly appeared in the music video of a famous αмєяι¢αn rapper—in a way that no one saw coming!
Specifically, αмєяι¢αn rapper Rylo Rodriguez used Jimin's iconic "Excuse me" meme as the intro to his song "Excuse Me" (feat. NoCap). As soon as the music video was released, fans immediately recognized the familiar voice of the BTS member, and clips of the intro quickly spread across social media platforms.
The audio clip originates from αмєяι¢αn Hustle Life, BTS's 2014 reality show that remains one of the group's most memorable programs from their early career. At the time, the members traveled to Los Angeles to learn about hip-hop culture from αмєяι¢αn artists and producers.
In one now-famous scene, the members were sitting in a car when Jungkook taught Jimin how to speak English more politely. Instead of directly asking, "How much is this?", Jungkook suggested that Jimin begin with "Excuse me." Jimin then enthusiastically stretched out the phrase, saying "Excuse me~" in his signature adorable way, accompanied by expressive facial expressions and playful gestures.
The spontaneous moment later became one of BTS's most iconic memes and has been widely shared by fans for years. However, fans never imagined that one day the meme would end up serving as the opening of a rapper's music video. At the same time, Rylo Rodriguez's decision to use one of Jimin's most iconic moments has led many ARMYs to speculate that he may actually be a longtime "secret ARMY"—with Jimin possibly being his bias.
Interestingly, this is not the first time recently that an αмєяι¢αn rapper has referenced BTS in a musical release. Back in May, Drake—one of the artists with the most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 songs in history—υиєχρє¢тє∂ly mentioned BTS by name in "Make Them Cry," a track from his ninth studio album, ICEMAN. The lyric, “I’m feeling like BTS ‘cause it took the whole career for me to be so discovered,” spread across social media at lightning speed.
Shortly afterward, the BTS members themselves had a hilarious reaction to Drake's υиєχρє¢тє∂ shout-out. V uploaded a short video on Instagram showing himself and j-hope listening to the song together. The two were completely immersed in the track until the moment the lyric mentioning BTS played. They immediately paused and exchanged bewildered expressions that essentially said, "Huh?" and "Really?" V even captioned the post with nothing more than a single "?" to emphasize his surprise.
Not long afterward, Jimin reposted V's video and added several question marks of his own, making it clear that the BTS members had absolutely no idea Drake was going to reference the group in his new song and were just as surprised as their fans.

Following that memorable reaction, fans are now especially curious to see how Jimin will respond after discovering that his legendary "Excuse me" meme has been featured in Rylo Rodriguez's latest music video. Given how quickly the clip has gone viral across social media, many ARMYs believe it's only a matter of time before Jimin himself sees it and shares his reaction.
Fans are now humorously flooding social media with comments about the υиєχρє¢тє∂ cameo, including:
- This jimin wouldn't have thought, he'd make a comeback as an intro clip for a song. HELP-
