BTS continued to deliver an explosive night in Los Angeles as they returned to the SoFi Stadium for the third night of the concert series marking the end of the North αмєяι¢αn leg of their ARIRANG tour. The members performed with incredible energy and constantly interacted with the au∂ιєnce, while tens of thousands of ARMYs responded with deafening cheers and enthusiastic support. One of the most moving moments came when 70,000 fans sang along to the кσяєαn folk song “Arirang” in кσяєαn and simultaneously raised South кσяєαn flags, creating an incredibly emotional sight for everyone watching.

Meanwhile, just like at other stops on the tour, one of the moments ARMYs have been looking forward to the most is the surprise songs segment, where BTS brings back clαѕѕic tracks that have not been performed on stage for a long time. With nearly 50 shows held so far, and an average of around two randomly selected songs per night, the list of songs performed has already reached around 60 tracks, although some songs have been performed more than once at different stops.

Even more notably, recent concerts have featured some υиєχρє¢тє∂ choices that have excited fans more than ever — songs that many ARMYs once thought they would never get to hear again because of their connection to a sensitive scandal involving one of the producers who worked on them.

Specifically, for the surprise song at LA Day 3, BTS chose “Home,” a track from their sixth mini album, Map of the Soul: Persona (2019). This marked the third consecutive song that the group has brought back to the stage in recent weeks, following “134340” at their Chicago concert late last month and “Love Maze,” which was performed at the LA Day 1 concert earlier this month. Notably, all three songs were once believed to be unlikely to return to the stage because of the involvement of controversial producer Bobby Jung in their songwriting and production.

Bobby Jung previously worked with BTS on several songs, including these three tracks as well as “Filter,” “I’m Fine,” “Answer: Love Myself,” and others. Since 2021, Bobby Jung has faced serious allegations involving ѕєχual αѕѕault and illegal filming. The scandal erupted after his former girlfriend made an extreme decision to end her life amid her distress, leaving behind a suicide note that led her family to file a lawsuit.

Although he was initially acquitted in that case, he was subsequently charged in another case involving the illegal filming of a woman after ρσℓι¢є discovered numerous illicit videos on his personal devices, which also led to the earlier case being reopened. Following the legal proceedings, he was sentenced to one year in prison in 2022 for filming a woman without her consent and was also banned from working at certain facilities involving children, teenagers, or people with disabilities for five years.

Following these scandals, HYBE and BTS were reportedly believed to have taken steps to distance themselves from the producer. Notably, “Home” and “Love Maze” were previously removed from the U.S. DVD release of Permission to Dance On Stage, despite having appeared on previous concert setlists. For a long time, many ARMYs also believed that “134340” might have suffered the same fate and would no longer be included among the songs BTS performed live.

The return of these beloved tracks has sparked an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. Many viewers acknowledged that Bobby Jung’s involvement in the production credits was unfortunate, but felt that it would be even more regrettable if the work of an entire team were completely discarded because of the personal wrongdoing of one individual. The songs themselves carry positive messages about love and healing. ARMYs have long been yearning to hear these tracks performed live again, and BTS has finally made that wish come true for their fans.
